Job Overview: Lead Cases. Change Lives. Build Something Meaningful.
Morales Padia Law is seeking an energetic, driven family law attorney with 3–5 years of experience who is ready to step into an active docket and make an immediate impact.
This role is ideal for someone who is practice-ready, confident in court, and eager to take ownership of cases involving divorce, custody, and family-based litigation. You will primarily manage a family law docket from start to finish, with the opportunity to handle or learn probate matters for clients who need support beyond family court.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t need hand-holding—someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running while still valuing collaboration and mentorship.
What You’ll Do
- Independently manage a family law caseload, including divorce, custody, SAPCRs, modifications, and enforcement matters
- Appear regularly in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
- Develop case strategy aligned with client goals—not just legal outcomes
- Draft and argue motions, discovery, and final orders
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients during emotionally charged situations
- Work closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently
- (Optional but encouraged) Assist with or transition into probate matters, including guardianships and estate administration
Who You Are
- A licensed Texas attorney with 3–5 years of family law experience
- Comfortable managing your own docket and court calendar
- Confident in the courtroom and effective in negotiation
- Highly organized and able to prioritize competing deadlines
- Energetic, responsive, and action-oriented
- Emotionally intelligent—you can be firm without losing empathy
- Open to expanding your skillset into probate (experience a plus, curiosity required)
Why This Role Is Different
- You’ll have real autonomy—not micromanagement
- You’ll work in a firm that values client education, transparency, and strategy
- You’ll be supported by strong systems and experienced staff
- You’ll have room to grow professionally and financially as the firm grows
- You’ll practice law in a way that is sustainable, not burnout-driven
