About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Family Law Paralegal who thrives in both the precision of legal work and the human side of client advocacy. This is more than a support role—you’ll be a key driver in helping families navigate some of the most pivotal moments of their lives.

In this position, you’ll partner closely with attorneys to move complex family law cases forward with clarity, efficiency, and care. If you’re highly organized, detail-obsessed, and confident handling sensitive matters, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

You’ll take ownership of case progression from start to finish, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

• Drive Case Preparation: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence across divorce, custody, and support matters
• Conduct Strategic Research: Use tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategy and ensure legal accuracy
• Own File Management: Maintain organized, audit-ready case files in Clio or similar systems
• Be a Client Touchpoint: Conduct intake and follow-up interviews with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
• Analyze & Review: Examine legal documents, evidence, and contracts for consistency, completeness, and strategic value
• Coordinate Case Activity: Manage filings, court deadlines, hearings, and discovery timelines
• Keep Operations Flowing: Handle scheduling, calendaring, and communications with efficiency and professionalism
• Support Litigation: Assist with document review, trial prep, proofreading, and transcription with a high level of accuracy

What You Bring

You’re not just experienced—you’re dependable, sharp, and proactive.

• Solid background as a Family Law Paralegal (additional exposure to Personal Injury, Criminal, or Employment law is a plus)
• Strong command of legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis)
• Experience with case management systems like Clio or similar tools
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills—you can juggle multiple cases without losing detail
• Clear, precise legal writing and proofreading abilities
• Professional, confident client communication and interviewing skills
• Working knowledge of litigation procedures and family law processes
