Experienced File Clerk

$20-$24 per hour DOE
Fast growing Family Law Firm seeking a detail focused, experienced file clerk with minimum 5 years experience working in a legal environment. The right candidate will take ownership of the filing process, ensure that all materials are handled accurately and timely and takes pride in maintaining exceptional organization and efficiency across all case files.
Primary Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Maintain physical and electronic case files within the firm’s document management system, MyCase
- Accurately apply naming convention for all documents managed.
- Organize and store documents correctly into client folders
- Copy, scanning and creating binders
- Receptionist duties as needed
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to confidentiality and retention of protocols.
- Perform routine file audits ensuring files are complete and audit ready
- Retrieve files for attorneys and staff as needed
- Support general office operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Prior experience working in a law firm required (Family Law preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Proficient with Adobe PDF
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Follow instructions, complete tasks on time, work independently, and commit to the hours necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment independently and with the team.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Technical Skills
Basic PC skills and the ability to operate a phone system, copier, scanner, and printer.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
