Experienced Floral Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong understanding of horticulture and gardening principles. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our retail space. This position offers flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time and starting wage is negotiable based on experience.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions.
• Provide expert advice to customers regarding floral selections and care.
• Manage inventory through effective stocking and merchandising practices.
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience through effective communication and teamwork.

Skills

• Proficiency in floral design techniques with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Experience in retail sales, including cash handling and retail math skills.
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is advantageous for online sales initiatives.
