Experienced Floral Designer – Part-Time
Join our creative team at Norfolk Florist!

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Floral Designer to bring creativity and quality to our shop. In this role, you’ll design a wide variety of arrangements — from daily bouquets and plant designs to funeral pieces, weddings, and special events.

Pay: $14–$16/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:

• Friday through Sunday, part-time hours
• Must be available during exciting peak floral seasons (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.), including the 2 weeks before the actual holiday date.

What You’ll Do:

• Create floral designs that meet customer expectations and shop standards
• Work efficiently to meet design goals while maintaining quality
• Keep your workspace clean and organized
• Assist with prepping containers and supplies as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with fellow designers and staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years retail floral design experience (required)
• Strong design skills across a variety of styles (funeral, wedding, everyday)
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed
• Comfortable using a computer to process and print orders -- this person will work in both design and customer service as needed
