Experienced Frontend Developer

The Frontend Developer position is ideal for someone with a work style emphasizing self-management with periodic collaboration and peer review. The ideal candidate enjoys completing project-based work from receipt of creative through final production and QA.

The job duty breakdown includes:

- Developing WordPress websites - 50% of the job:

• Custom template development from PSDs
• Implementing SEO, responsive, and accessibility best practices
• Collaborating with development team to adhere to Eyesore standard processes

- Supporting existing projects - 50% of the job:

• Adding new features based on client requests
• Troubleshooting website issues

Job Requirements for the Frontend Developer include:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & PHP
• Proficiency with WordPress template development
• Proficiency with mobile-friendly / responsive best practices
• Experience with SASS/LESS, Node and NPM, and Github.
• Ability to navigate layered PSDs and Illustrator files
• Ability to work from the Griffin, GA office
• Experience with DNS and hosting management is a plus
• Experience in accessibility and SEO standards a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• JavaScript: 2 years (Preferred)
• WordPress: 3 years (Preferred)
