Experienced Gate/Railings Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EXPERIENCED Gates and Railings (Wrought iron style) Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding mild steel Gate and Railings, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality products in accordance with technical specifications.

Duties

• Perform MIG welding and other welding processes on various metals, including sheet metal, to precise specifications.
• Must be confident and competent in operating machinery
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
• Work with drawings
• Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce parts for various projects.
• Cut, Drill, Shape and Assemble steel, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Basix Knowledge of sheet metal working techniques and fabrication processes.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
• Experience in assembly processes related to metal fabrication projects.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience working with welding equipment and mechanical components is highly desirable. We will provide process knowledge. • On-site experience is advantageous but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18.00 per hour
