Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

Experienced heavy equipment operator(s) with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating excavators, dozers, blades, loaders, skid steers and other pieces of heavy equipment.

$30-35 Pay depending on experience levels.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Ability to operate efficiently and safely.

· Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.

· Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.

· Experience working in a mining/industrial environment a plus.

Requirements

· Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.

· Flexibility to stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice.

· Able to get off the machine and work when needed.

· Conduct routine mobile equipment inspections and ensure normal operation of equipment.

· Good Critical thinking Skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.

· Keep worksite clean and organized. No unnecessary hazards.

· Load and unload equipment and materials.

· Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.

· Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including Marijuana).

· Valid Driver’s License with clean 3-year driving record (must be insurable)
