Experienced HVAC Technician

Overview

Total Plumbing & Heating is seeking a motivated, experienced, and dependable HVAC Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, mini-splits, and ventilation equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system specifications
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and up to code
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation
• Operate company vehicles and tools responsibly
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC service and installation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Experience with boilers, refrigeration systems, and troubleshooting electrical components is a plus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• EPA Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift equipment and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
