Job Overview
We are seeking dependable, experienced HVAC Technicians who are passionate about delivering top-tier mechanical and technical solutions. In this dynamic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, components, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling systems while providing outstanding customer service on every job.

This position is ideal for a technician who is comfortable managing HVAC service, repair, and installation work from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform installation and maintenance of HVAC/R equipment in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• Conduct field service operations such as equipment repair, system upgrades, and property maintenance tasks.
• Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding techniques for component repairs or modifications.
• Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems or refrigeration units, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Install, modify and repair ductwork systems
• Ensure all work meets local codes and company standards
• Replace and install HVAC units, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and related equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician with a strong background in service technician roles, installation and units.
• EPA Certification preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration and appliance repair.
• Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and equipment repair expertise.
• Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and field service operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and ductwork installation

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
