Experienced In-Home Sales Closer – Outdoor Lighting

We are hiring one strong in-home sales rep for our outdoor lighting company.

This is for someone who knows how to walk into a homeowner appointment, build trust fast, present professionally, ask the right questions, handle objections, and close the job.

If you need hand-holding, have little to no home improvement sales experience, or are not comfortable asking for the sale in person, this is not the role for you.

We provide the appointments.
You run them, quote the work, follow up properly, and close deals.

This is a year-round role, not a temporary holiday job. That said, our volume ramps up significantly from October through December, so the right rep needs to be able to handle a busier season when things pick up.

Pay

  • 10% commission on all sales

What we need

  • Home improvement sales experience is required
  • Several years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable selling face-to-face with homeowners
  • Strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
  • Professional appearance
  • Reliable, clean, presentable vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work some evenings and weekends

What you will do

  • Run pre-set in-home appointments with homeowners
  • Assess the property and customer goals
  • Recommend the right outdoor lighting solution
  • Present pricing confidently and professionally
  • Ask for the sale and close on-site when possible
  • Follow up on unsold estimates without needing to be chased
  • Keep organized notes and communicate clearly with the team

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
