Overview: Sweet, relaxed first‑time parents in Walnut Creek are seeking an experienced, professional caregiver to provide in‑home support for their 3‑month‑old twins (boy and girl). This is a steady, long‑term opportunity with guaranteed hours, paid time off and holidays. The family is open to candidates from daycare, infant center, or nanny backgrounds!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, loving daily care for twin infants: feeding, soothing, nap support, diapering
• Implement age‑appropriate activities and routines (tummy time, sensory play, language stimulation)
• Monitor babies’ wellbeing and promptly communicate observations to parents
• Maintain a clean, organized childcare area and handle simple infant‑related tasks
• Take neighborhood walks with the stroller as needed (note: hilly terrain)

Ideal Candidate:

• The family is looking for a warm, patient, highly skilled childcare professional who is comfortable with multiples and confident making independent, thoughtful decisions. Ideal qualifications include:
• Recent, hands‑on experience caring for infants (ideally 5+ years working with babies)
• Demonstrated experience caring for multiple infants/toddlers; daycare, infant center, or nanny experience welcomed
• Strong knowledge of infant development and ability to suggest/implement routines and activities
• Excellent, proactive communication skills; kind and collaborative with parents
• Calm, patient, and effective at soothing and engaging very young babies
• Physically able to push a stroller up hills

Requirements:

• 5+ years working with infants
• Experience caring for multiple infants simultaneously (daycare/infant center)
• Fluent in English
• Infant CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Current vaccinations preferred (including COVID‑19)
• Excellent references and successful criminal background check
• Enrollment in California TrustLine (or willingness to enroll)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
