Experienced Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, motor skills, and social-emotional growth for infants
  • Provide attentive care by monitoring infants’ health, feeding schedules, diapering needs, and comfort levels
  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery through play-based learning
  • Collaborate with families to share insights on each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of health and safety protocols
  • Incorporate principles of early intervention and special education strategies to support children with diverse needs
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation among infants

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or early childhood education setting
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in toddler care
  • Experience with curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education and Montessori methods
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for infants and toddlers
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that support physical activity, cognitive growth, and social skills
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and specialists in early intervention or special education
  • Certification in early childhood education or child welfare is preferred; relevant training in daycare or preschool environments is highly valued
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is a plus
