Experienced Infant Teacher, Twos and Floater

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Experienced Teacher for our Ones classroom, School Age classroom, and a Floater between rooms that specializing in school-age education, to join our vibrant educational community. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to school-age children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable
• Design engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote active participation among students
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
• Support children’s social-emotional development and ensure their safety and well-being in accordance with child welfare guidelines
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and identify areas for additional support or tutoring
• Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments that accommodate children with special education needs or requiring early intervention
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational policies

Experience

• Proven classroom management experience working with school-age children in preschool or daycare settings
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and early childhood education principles
• Experience working with children requiring special education services or early intervention programs
• Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods and preschool experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to support individual student needs
• Prior private school or daycare experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for childhood development is essential

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
