Modern Metal Solutions is a team of talented, creative, and dedicated people that design, fabricate, and install architectural metal elements in the luxury home market. We strive to provide the highest level of craftsmanship.

We are looking for an experienced installer to join our growing team. This individual will work with various materials, including steel, stainless steel, wood, and glass; and will represent the company professionally on site while communicating with clients and the MMS team. The role is highly detailed and requires critical knowledge to complete complex installation tasks.

We also value candidates with strong carpentry skills, as many projects require working with wood framing, trim, or other built-in architectural elements alongside metalwork.

Projects may include: Stairs, Railings, Balcony Rails, Fireplace Surrounds, Decorative Grilles, Kitchen Hoods, Metal Doors, Exterior Rails, Cabinet and Opening Trim, and other custom metal elements as requested by clients.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to job sites; occasional overnight travel for specific projects
• Work towards project delivery goals with precision
• Operate installation equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and chain falls
• Perform tasks that involve both metalwork and carpentry, including precise fitting, alignment, and finishing
• Protect finished surfaces and work carefully around upscale interiors
• Communicate daily progress with the installation manager
• Use ladders or staging safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Welding Experience not required, but helpful
• Versed in tools and techniques, and able to apply basic carpentry skills
• Ability to adapt to different projects, materials, and job sites
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of safe work practices on job sites
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Current driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
