Experienced ISEE, SSAT & SAT tutor(min. 2 yrs. of work)

Job Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED( at least 2 yrs. tutoring work) ISEE, SSA , SAT Tutor who received a high score on at least 1 of these tests, one who knows STRATEGIES that one can teach students. The ideal candidate will possess a STRONG background in TUTORING and/or teaching, especially in English AND Math and be reliable, organized and motivated to elicit a student's potential. This role requires effective communication skills, commitment to excellence and a passion for helping students become confident learners.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on test preparation strategies and subject comprehension.
• Develop tailored lesson plans and curriculum that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize learning technology to facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure understanding and retention of material.
• Write weekly summaries after each tutoring session
• IMPORTANT: Submit BOTH cover letter and resume.
• Conduct presentations on test-taking strategies, study skills, and time management techniques.
• Collaborate with parents and managers to support student's achievement.

Experience

• Background in lesson planning is highly desirable.
• Experience working with students of various capabilities.
• Standardized, TEST-PREP tutoring experience.
• Strong presentation skills to effectively convey information during tutoring sessions.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
