Duties

• Research, develop, and produce well-crafted news stories that adhere to AP style guidelines.
• Conduct interviews, gather information, and verify facts to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Write clear, concise articles suitable for print, digital, and social media channels.
• Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Capture high-quality photography and videography to complement stories and enhance visual storytelling.
• Manage social media accounts by posting updates, engaging audiences, and monitoring trends.
• Collaborate with editors, photographers, videographers, and other team members to deliver comprehensive coverage of news events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in journalism or related field with a strong portfolio of published work.
• Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail and adherence to AP style.
• Proficiency in photography, videography, video production, editing, and copy editing.
• Strong research skills with the ability to verify facts quickly and accurately.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach diverse audiences effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills for interviews, storytelling, and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of social media management tools and content strategies.
