Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting, to ensure healthy, attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment such as zero turn mowers safely and efficiently
• Conduct landscape installation projects involving hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
• Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper watering schedules for optimal plant health
• Assist with general construction activities related to landscaping projects, including site preparation and material handling
• Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, gardening practices, and tree care procedures
• Skilled in operating tools and equipment for maintaining and installing landscaping safely
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general construction processes
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills related to landscape maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license are a must; certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus
