EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPE TREE CLIMBER/TRIMMER

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, driven, and skilled Landscaping TREE CLIMBER and TREE TRIMMER Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various aspects of landscaping . The ideal candidates have prior experience in tree climbing, and tree trimming processes.

Responsibilities and Duties
-Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
- Operate and service all required tools/equipment.

-Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.

- Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.

-Care for client property and clean up. Able to work 5 days a week.
- Loads/unloads trucks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations
- Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.

-Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.

-Services gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools and other equipment.

-Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment, as assigned.

-Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.

-Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.

-Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc., to protect employees and the public.

-Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.

-Assists in training new employees.

-Assumes responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tools, trucks, and other work equipment.

-Requests repair or replacement, when necessary.

-Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.

-Performs other related work, as assigned by superiors.

Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

-Minimum of 5 years experience preferred working at a landscaping crew leader level.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction
- Proficiency in tree care, irrigation systems, groundskeeping, garden upkeep, lawn care, and landscape design
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively
- Knowledge of plant species, soil types, and landscaping materials
-Must be 18 years of age or older

-Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.

-Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces performing mentally/physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment or material.

-No fear of heights.

-Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

-Excellent communication and leadership skills.

-Valid driver's license with clean DMV 3 year record.

-Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

--Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

--Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

-Other physical requirements: continuous (up to 100%): Standing, Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing Distance, Reaching, Range-of-Motion, Depth Perception, Lifting over 10 lbs to 50 lbs, Climbing Poles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
