We are currently looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented Landscaper with specialized experience in hardscaping to join our growing contractor crew.

The Role

We are seeking an Experienced Landscaper who specializes in the installation of pavers, patios, walkways, and retaining walls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of site preparation, base installation, and structural integrity for hardscape projects, alongside general landscaping knowledge. Key Responsibilities

• Hardscape Installation: Expertly lay interlocking pavers for patios, walkways, and driveways, ensuring proper grading, leveling, and drainage.
• Retaining Walls: Construct sturdy, structurally sound retaining walls and seating walls using various materials (modular block, natural stone, timber, etc.).
• Site Preparation: Excavate, grade, and prepare base materials (gravel, sand) to precise specifications before installation.
• Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport heavy materials, including stone, block, soil, and mulch.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate landscaping tools and heavy machinery (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators, plate compactors, concrete saws).
• General Landscaping: Assist with softscaping tasks as needed, including planting trees/shrubs, laying sod, and applying mulch.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations, maintaining a clean and safe job site at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [3+] years of professional landscaping experience, with a proven track record specifically in hardscape installation (pavers and retaining walls).
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of base preparation, screeding, cutting pavers, and retaining wall engineering principles.
• Physical Endurance: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to [50+ lbs]), bend, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alongside a crew or take the lead on a project site.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (ability to drive a truck and trailer is a major plus).
• Portfolio: Willingness to provide photos of past hardscape projects you have completed is highly preferred.

Pay: $25.15 - $30.29 per hour
