EXPERIENCED LAWN SPRAY TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST

Job Type: Full-time, Weekly Pay, Commission/Hourly.

Hours: Monday thru Friday – occasional weekends.

We have an amazing full time employment opportunity for an experienced, reliable, qualified, friendly Lawn Technician that will be responsible for making applications of various fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides to turf and landscape beds on commercial and residential properties. Company paid benefits (vision, dental, telehealth, accident and life). Weekly pay, PTO and vacation pay offered. Commission rate is based on experience.

Lawn pest experience necessary. Z Spray experience a plus. Clean Drivers License a must. The right candidate must be willing to learn and follow processes and procedures in an ever changing market with many different products, have a positive attitude, a team player and excellent customer service skills. Physical Requirements:

Physical Strength; hand eye coordination and endurance; Lift up to 80lbs; transfer vertically items weighing up to 100lbs.; Drag hose up to 300 ft.; Ability to lift, pull, push up to 100lbs.; Bending and squatting.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Fertilizer, Insecticide and weed control applications to turf and landscape beds.
• Mix, load, and apply fertilizers/herbicides to numerous sites each day.
• Calibrate sprayers and spreaders
• Comply with the Department of Agriculture laws and regulations regarding the use of pesticides as outlined in the general, turf, and right of way categories.
• Complete required paperwork and reports on a daily basis.
• Clean and maintain equipment on regular basis to ensure good working order.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification/ Experience:

• Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products.
• Ability to read maps and locate jobs readily.
• Knowledge of backpack sprayers, spreaders and/or calibration equipment a plus, but not necessary. .
• Detailed record keeping and paperwork is extremely important.
• We work outside in various weather conditions.
