We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Lead Barista with specialized expertise in La Marzocco espresso machines to join our vibrant café team. Duties

• Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality coffee preparation using La Marzocco espresso machines.
• Train and mentor team members on proper brewing techniques, machine maintenance, and customer service excellence.
• Oversee food safety and food handling procedures, maintaining compliance with health regulations.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and creating a warm café atmosphere.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; coordinate restocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment, including food preparation areas and equipment upkeep.

Experience

• Proven barista experience with a strong focus on espresso preparation using La Marzocco machines.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail food service setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and basic math for retail math calculations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
