Experienced Licensed Esthetician (Facials + Brow Lams/Lash Lifts)

We are currently hiring an experienced esthetician (Glow Giver) at our clean facial and waxing spa in West Adams. Someone with 2 - 4 years of experience giving facials in a spa setting. This is our second location as we are based in Pasadena, and we're excited to bring someone onto the team for our new opening. We are looking for a skincare enthusiast, who has the patience and drive to build their clientele over time.

We practice a clean skincare and hands-on philosophy so the right candidate will have an interest and passion in non-toxic, clean formulas and a holistic approach to skincare.

Reporting to the Spa Manager, Glow Givers bring a positive attitude to work, enthusiastically follow policies and procedures, and believe in exceptional customer service.

This is the perfect opportunity to learn Cheeks & Co's master facial technique and perfect your skills in advanced facial massage, Gua Sha (you will learn our signature gua sha technique), Microdermabrasion, Microcurrent and pain free extractions.

Required Days/Operating Hours:

Monday- Friday 11:00 - 7:30
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 - 6:00

Job Requirements

• Valid California Esthetician license.
• Two to four years experience performing facials.
• Experience performing extractions.
• Ability to multi-task.
• A strong and memorable touch.
• Ability to write clear and concise client notes.
• A friendly and caring personality.
• An interest in holistic skincare and clean beauty.Job Responsibilities
• Able to come in or stay later for Glow Givers out due to illness or emergency.
• Setup and cleanup treatment room.
• Follow a detailed opening and closing procedure.
• Perform full menu of facial services.
• Exhibit a relaxing and nurturing demeanor to all clients.
• Build a relationship with your clients, and encourage them to return.
• Meet new clients and see repeat clients.
• Take detailed client notes after each facial.
• Suggest after care products to every client, in an organic and welcoming manner.
• Properly maintain, respect and sanitize all machines and equipment.
• Keep the facial room immaculate and organized.
• Ensure the spa is quiet and your clients are using their ‘spa voice’
• Monitor and answer company emails to your @cheeks.co address.
• Educate clients on our membership discount when appropriate.
• Take before and after clients when you are comfortable with a client.
• Attend a monthly staff meeting. In person and online.
• Act responsible and professional with co-workers and clients.
• Be open to feedback and learning.
• Be a team player and help fellow Glow Givers.
• When not with a client, be open to performing tasks on our ongoing task list.
• Notify the Spa Manager or Lead Glow giver when there are issues with equipment or products.
• Interact with clients in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensure your treatment tools and dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Follow our strict sanitation and clean up procedure between clients.
• Be agile and efficient, and able to properly clean up and close your sales.
• Speak to clients via email if a reaction or issue arises.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.37 - $21.37 per hour
