Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in meal assembly, ensuring each dish meets quality and consistency expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution.
• Handle food safely at all times, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and special catering events.
• Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety.
• Experience in fine dining settings is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for high-quality food is essential.
• Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is advantageous.
• Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
