Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality specifications
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality
- Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery
Experience
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation efficiently under pressure
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods
- Prior kitchen experience in the food industry that emphasizes attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
