Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to support seasonal and special offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and safe food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members during busy service hours to ensure timely meal delivery.
• Help with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
• Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality.

Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is essential, especially in fine dining environments.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are required.
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations is highly desirable.
• Experience with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is necessary.
• Culinary experience that demonstrates versatility across different cuisines or catering settings is preferred.
