Experienced Line Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Experienced Line Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, change calculation, and receipt issuance
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and cashier stations
• Assist with bussing tables and food delivery to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Follow sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines to uphold health standards in all food handling activities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently without compromising quality

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Culinary experience or restaurant background is a plus; familiarity with café or grocery store environments is beneficial
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform kitchen-related tasks as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
