Introduction

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our growing team. As a vital member of our legal team, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys, conducting research, and assisting with case preparation.

This is a key leadership role that requires the ability to comprehend instructions and information with problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

- Minimum one (1) year personal injury Litigation experience required to be considered.

- Bilingual Spanish.

- In-person attendance Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (depending on our needs at the time of hire).

- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.

- Previous work experience in a law firm or legal department.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Knowledge of legal research methods and resources.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Understanding of legal processes and court procedures.

- Strong ethical standards and integrity.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check & provide three (3) valid professional references.

Responsibilities include

- Managing assigned case deadlines.

- Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings.

- Draft legal documents, including motions and discovery.

- Organize and maintain legal files and records.

- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.

- File legal documents with courts and other governmental agencies.

- Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.

- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.

- Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance.

- Prepare and organize exhibits for court cases.

- Assist in the management of case files and legal correspondence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
