Greenwood Injury Law has a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our amazing and growing Law Firm. We seek a full-time (35-40 hours per week) experienced litigation paralegal with a strong background in civil claims (negligence, negligence per se, PLA, etc.) in both State and Federal Court.

Experience must include all aspects of preparing a pre-litigation case to a litigation case including, but not limited to, reviewing the file for missing medical records, preparing initial and supplemental disclosures, drafting correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, or others, drafting pleadings such as Complaints, drafting motions, preparing and responding to discovery, and of course, assisting the lead attorney with trial preparation.

Candidates must have experience with Colorado E-filing, CM/ECF and Pacer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support attorney with litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, forms, and court filings.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client and case information.
  • Track case deadlines and monitor court dockets and calendars.
  • Organize and manage physical and electronic case files.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury claims is preferred.
  • Paralegal certificate is preferred.

Must be proficient in:

  • Microsoft Suite Office products including Word, Outlooks, and Excel.
  • Video software such as Zoom.
  • Adobe Professional or other PDF programs
  • Legal Research Tools such as West Law.
  • Management software such as Filevine is preferred.

Work Location: In person.

Compensation is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
