Experienced Mechanic

We are seeking a full-time Experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment essential to our operations. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative and routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
• Service and adjust small engines, gas engines, diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and snow equipment
• Maintain and repair landscaping tools and machinery, including lawn mowers, blowers, chain saws, and weed wackers
• Utilize strong knowledge of motors, hand tools, trailers, and hydraulic systems
• Provide occasional road service as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure equipment is safe and operational

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with small engines, automotive, diesel trucks, and heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of motors, hand tools, trailers, and hydraulics
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and vehicles
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to relocate to Wappingers Falls, NY before starting work (preferred)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Offered compensation: $22/yr - $30/yr
