Experienced Med Tech 7a-7p & 7p-7a

As a Med Tech / Caregiver, you will provide compassionate care to residents, assist with daily living activities, help manage medications under direction, and support the nursing team to ensure each resident’s dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication pass/checks (as permitted by licensure/training and facility policy).
• Monitor resident condition and behaviour; report changes (physical, emotional, cognitive) to nursing staff promptly.
• Provide companionship, engage residents in social activities, encourage participation, and foster a supportive environment.
• Document care delivered according to facility policy and regulatory requirements (MARs, incident reports, behaviour logs).
• Follow infection control procedures, safety protocols, emergency response requirements (falls, wandering, aggressive behaviour) in the memory‑care/assisted‑living setting.
• Support 24‑hour care model; may assist with shift hand‑offs, med‑checks, and teamwork across departments
• Additional duties as assigned.
