Experienced Med Tech NOC

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented full time Med Tech to join our team. As a Med Tech, you will play a critical role in supporting our residents' health and well-being by safely administering medications and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with state regulations and company policies.

Applicants must be able to work 7pm to 7am. Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents at scheduled times
• Document medication administration accurately in the MAR (Medication Administration Record)
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist residents with ADLs such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper medication storage and labeling
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
• Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a friendly and caring attitude
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime preparation and support
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings

Skills

• Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.
• Prior experience working in assisted living, memory care, or long term care preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents and their families.
• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful of the aging population.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.
