Med- TechResident Assistant

Job Type: Part-time
Shift: Night Shift | Monday – Friday | 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
No Weekends Required!
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
$1,000 Retention Bonus!

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and community policies
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the Administrator
• Document medication administration and resident care accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to residents
• Assist residents during meal times and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
• Respond promptly to resident call bells, requests, and emergencies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures
• Assist with resident activities and encourage social engagement
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and healthcare professionals
• Ensure medication carts, supplies, and resident care areas remain organized and properly stocked
• Perform routine safety checks and rounds throughout the shift
• Support and promote residents’ independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Work collaboratively as part of the caregiving team to provide exceptional resident-centered care

Experience:

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities is required
• Med -Tech Certification required
