EXPERIENCED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
• Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS) protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by understanding physiology and anatomy to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Manage medical documentation including ICD coding, medical terminology entries, and detailed charting for both outpatient clinics
• Prepare examination rooms, assist during procedures in the outpatient setting, and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.

Skills

• Extensive experience in Oncology/Hematology
• Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and coding purposes.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding standards, and medical terminology to support accurate patient records.
• Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medication administration, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS).
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows.
• Must be able to multitask
• Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication tailored to diverse populations.
