We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
- Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS) protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments by understanding physiology and anatomy to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Manage medical documentation including ICD coding, medical terminology entries, and detailed charting for both outpatient clinics
- Prepare examination rooms, assist during procedures in the outpatient setting, and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Skills
- Extensive experience in Oncology/Hematology
- Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and coding purposes.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding standards, and medical terminology to support accurate patient records.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medication administration, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS).
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows.
- Must be able to multitask
- Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication tailored to diverse populations.
