Experienced Medical Courier Driver (Certified Only)

CBL Enterprises is seeking an experienced and certified Medical Courier Driver to support a federal contract involving the transport of sensitive medical materials, including laboratory specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals.

This position requires strict compliance, professionalism, and the ability to meet time-critical delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Complete three scheduled courier runs daily (Monday–Friday)
• Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals
• Respond to unscheduled or emergency delivery requests within a 2-hour timeframe
• Maintain strict chain-of-custody and accountability of all items
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility personnel
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries at all designated locations

Required – No Exceptions:

Applicants must already have all of the following certifications:

• Hazardous Materials Training (49 CFR 172.704)
• Hazardous Materials Transportation Certification (49 CFR 173.134)
• HIPAA Training Certification
• OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (29 CFR 1910.1030)

Additional Requirements:

• Previous courier or delivery experience (medical or time-sensitive preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check for base access

Vehicle Requirements:

• Cargo van required (Sprinter, Transit, or similar)
• Minimum 200 cubic feet cargo capacity
• Minimum 46-inch cargo height

Preferred:

• Medical courier experience
• Familiarity with Tampa area routes
• Strong reliability and professionalism
