Experienced Medical Scribe

Hello! At Quantum Pain & Spine, we are looking for a dedicated Medical Scribe to join our growing team. This role is essential in supporting our physicians by ensuring accurate, timely documentation so they can focus on delivering the highest quality of patient care.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with at least 1 year of prior medical scribing or healthcare experience. Training will be provided to support your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany providers during patient visits to document findings in real time.
• Accurately record patient encounters, including histories, physical exams, diagnostic findings, and treatment plans.
• Assist physicians with administrative tasks such as managing charts, completing forms, and ordering tests.
• Track and follow up on labs, imaging studies, and other real-time patient data.
• Prepare and organize patient information for upcoming appointments.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently to maintain smooth clinic workflow.
• Perform other non-clinical duties as requested by providers.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of medical scribing or prior medical experience required.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent typing speed (80+ WPM) and computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) and eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
