DERMATOLOGY MEDICAL SCRIBE

NEW Privately owned Dermatology Practice is seeking a Superstar!

If you are an experienced Dermatology Medical Scribe and are seeking a position where your talents, teamwork and organizational skills will be recognized and valued, we are looking for you!

This is a Full-time position in a gorgeous state-of-the-art-office that launched in November 2023! The Practice offers Medical, Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology including Mohs. We are seeking an energetic team-oriented individual to work directly with the leadership to continue building an amazing practice!

This position will be responsible for:

Charting and documentation

• Write up notes for each visit (history, physical exam, procedures, plan). (Practice uses ModMed-EMA)
• Enter diagnoses, treatment plans, and prescriptions (like tretinoin or clobetasol).
• Make sure everything is accurate and meets medical/legal standards.
• Documenting biopsies and lesion removals, noting details like location, size, and technique used.

Administrative tasks

• Prepare charts before visits (review patient history).
• Help with coding/billing information.
• Sometimes coordinate follow-ups or referrals.

This position will be cross trained to assist with some front office duties such as check-in and appointment scheduling.

Required Experience

2+ years working directly assisting a Dermatologist with hands-on patient care

2 + years working with EMA ModMed

Strong understanding of Dermatology terminology, medications, procedures, and treatments

Strong multi-tasking and ability to prioritize needs and situations throughout the day

Phlebotomy experience a plus

Leadership qualities, team player, exceptional customer experience, and a self-starter mentality is required

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
