Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join a Dynamic Team!! We are a busy multi-provider family practice in Katy, Texas looking for a highly motivated, skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C). Bi-Lingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is preferred but not required. This position will work closely with the Clinic Director under the guidance of the Managing Physician.

Primary Responsibilities:

To provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medication for children and adults as needed. The Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant is an advanced practice practitioner that helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. .

• Ensure the highest level of care to our patients
• Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries
• Prescribing medications and other treatments
• Managing patients' overall care
• Ensure EMR compliance and thorough record management, documentation and charting according to state regulations.
• Qualifications for this role:
• 2 to 3 years as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience Family Medicine
• Must possess a medical license active in the State of Texas and comply with the stated scope of practice as defined by the State Board of Nursing and State Medical Board or applicable certifications
• Must have a clear disciplinary history record
• Must be a self-starter, resourceful and driven with results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to work in a collaborative environment
• Leadership skills, the ability to direct the team and also roll up their sleeves to get work done
• Must be available to work weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
