We're seeking an orthodontic dental assistant that is motivated and is a team player. The position has excellent opportunities for bonuses on top of hourly pay, along with opportunities for growth.

General duties include helping all other team members to achieve daily practice goals, anticipating and providing a high quality of support. This includes coordinating the hand-off from the front desk to back office to ensure the financial arrangements have been made prior to treatment.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Assisting Doctors and each other in Bonding, Banding, and de-banding procedures
• Taking digital x-rays and utilizing the computer system for the image processing
• Taking digital intra-oral and facial photos · Placing archwires
• Using Trios digital scanners with computers
• Sterilization and disinfection procedures·
• Updating Patient Records, chart entries
• Patient education

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Orthodontic Assistant experience (Preferred)
• Proficient in dental terminology and charting
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative dental assistant team
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail

Work Setting:

• Work Location: In-person (14351 Livernois Ave, Detroit, MI – must relocate before starting work)
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
