<Job Summary>
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Your expertise will help streamline case management, facilitate legal research and drafting, and ensure the accuracy and organization of legal documents. <Responsibilities>
- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage, Clio, and Timematters to ensure all records are current and easily accessible.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and maintaining detailed logs of activities.
- Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as needed to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases.
- Update clients of case status including upcoming scheduled events and treatment verification.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, transcription services, and maintaining organized case files.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize legal administrative experience to streamline workflows while ensuring adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Assist in document review processes for litigation or transactional matters while ensuring accuracy in all materials prepared.
<Experience>
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple legal practice areas including personal injury law, workers compensation, and medical malpractice.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex case files using document management systems like iManage or Clio effectively.
- Familiarity with legal case management software and data entry procedures within a busy law office environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with clarity and professionalism.
- Experience supporting attorneys through document review, proofreading, transcription tasks and project coordination.
- Exceptional interviewing skills combined with keen attention to detail during client or witness interactions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment that values accuracy and proactive communication. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
