Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
- Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Manage case files and document repositories using document management systems.
- Review and organize legal documents for bankruptcy, litigation, and other practice areas.
- Support attorneys with client interviews by preparing questionnaires and summarizing interview notes.
- Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems and maintain meticulous records of case activities.
- Provide administrative support including filing, scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and organizing meetings to ensure seamless office operations.
Experience
- Prior bankruptcy paralegal experience in a law office environment is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
- Experience with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription, proofreading, and document review.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
