Full time EXPERIENCED Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST be proficient in all areas of back office procedures and have worked in a clinical pediatric setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in the back office with patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits.
- Take patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, accurate manual height and weight.
- Confidently administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers. VFC knowledgeable preferred.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as UA, Strep, flu, RSV, and COVID tests. Must be proficient at venipunctures and finger sticks.
- Update patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
Additional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of eClinicalWorks a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
-Have professional phone skills and be able to speak confidently to parents.
- Ideal candidate will live within 30 minutes of our office.
