Experienced Personal Injury Case Manager / Pre-Litigation Case Manager

The Law Office of David Pourati is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our practice. We are a smaller, client-focused law firm looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, follows through, and wants to be part of a professional team long-term.

Practice / Case Environment:

• Primarily personal injury pre-litigation matters
• Cases include auto accidents, premises liability, and related injury claims
• Use of CasePeer for file management
• Direct communication with attorney and streamlined decision-making
• Organized office seeking someone who can keep files moving efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding treatment, case status, and next steps
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lien holders
• Request and organize medical records and billing
• Track deadlines, treatment progress, and file movement
• Prepare demand packages and settlement documentation
• Assist attorney with case strategy and day-to-day file management
• Keep case files organized and updated
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a collaborative small-firm environment
• Jump in where needed and support the team

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of personal injury case management experience required
• Experience handling pre-litigation personal injury cases strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of PI case flow, treatment timelines, records, demands, and settlements
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple files efficiently
• Can manage deadlines without handholding
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Team player with a positive, no-nonsense, get-it-done attitude
• Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• We value organization, communication, and consistency over ego
• Spanish speaking preferred but not required
