Experienced Powersports Technician / Mechanic

Position Summary:

As an Experienced Powersports Service Technician/Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of powersports vehicles. You will work closely with our service team to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in the powersports industry, a strong work ethic, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft.

Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

Communicate effectively with the service team to explain needs and repairs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.

Stay current with factory-certifications and trainings, as well as industry trends, updates, and new technologies.

Ensure the service area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Mentor and train junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

Technical training or certification in powersports service is preferred.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a powersports service technician or in a related field.

Strong knowledge of powersports systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a motorcycle endorsement (if applicable).
