Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare. This role involves fostering developmental growth through innovative lesson planning and individualized support, ensuring each child's social, emotional, and cognitive needs are met. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in preparing children for future academic success while promoting a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy, math and physical education.
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages
  • Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and social skills development
  • Support children with special needs through early intervention strategies and individualized instruction
  • Foster a safe, welcoming environment that prioritizes child welfare and emotional well-being
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instruction
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss developmental milestones and progress reports
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in compliance with educational standards
  • Incorporate childcare best practices including toddler care, daycare procedures, and preschool experience techniques
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends and standards

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
  • Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and special education
  • Proven classroom management skills to maintain an organized, disciplined learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Experience working with students in private school or daycare settings preferred
  • Competence in lesson planning, tutoring, and implementing standardized testing protocols
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques specific to preschool-aged children

Job Type: Full-time
