WANTED: 3-Year-Old Whisperer (Also Known as Preschool Teacher)
Location: Hilltop Children's Center
Position: Full-Time Preschool Teacher
Age Group: The adorable, chaotic 3-year-old crowd
Are you fluent in Toddler-ese? Can you spot a meltdown coming from 50 feet away? Do you consider glitter a necessary evil and snack time a sacred ritual? Then keep reading.
We're not looking for just any preschool teacher. We want a magician who can turn finger paint into fine art, a storyteller who can make The Very Hungry Caterpillar feel like a Broadway show, and a master planner who can write a lesson plan in their sleep (but preferably not during circle time).
Your Daily Adventure Might Include:
- Translating toddler logic into classroom harmony
- Writing lesson plans that make kids and licensing inspectors smile
- Managing a small group of wild, wonderful 3-year-olds with the precision of an air traffic controller and the kindness of Mister Rogers
- Singing “The Wheels on the Bus” with Grammy-level enthusiasm—daily
- Dodging toy dinosaurs while teaching the alphabet
You Might Be Our Person If You:
- Have experience with 3-year-olds and can tell the difference between a tantrum and a performance piece
- Know how to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that include learning, fun, and maybe a tiny bit of chaos
- Can maintain classroom control without bribing anyone with Goldfish (okay… maybe just one time)
- Understand that showing up every day matters—because tiny humans don’t understand subs, but they do notice when their favorite teacher disappears. Consistency is key when you’re building trust, routines, and the best part of a kid’s day.
- Are CPR/First Aid certified—or willing to get certified soon
- Think coffee is an essential food group
Bonus Points If:
- You’ve ever had Play-Doh in your hair and just owned it
- You can recite “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” by heart
- Your Pinterest boards are 60% preschool activities and 40% classroom organization hacks
What You Get (Besides Crayon Drawings and Free Germs):
- A supportive, upbeat team that doesn’t believe in drama (unless it’s in a puppet show)
- Ongoing professional development (we love a lifelong learner!)
- Paid holidays and time off (we know you need to recharge your superhero powers)
- A chance to actually shape little lives and help create a love of learning
If you’re ready to jump into a place where every day is unpredictable, joyful, occasionally sticky, and always rewarding—apply now. Capes optional, passion required. Reliability a must. (Seriously.)
