Experienced Property Damage Claims Consultant (bi-lingual Spanish required)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Property Damage Claims Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and assessing property damage claims, providing expert advice to clients, ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and within compliance with industry standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of insurance policies, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Assessment: Review and assess property damage claims to determine liability and the scope of damage. Inspect properties or liaise with relevant parties to collect evidence, documents, and photographs related to claims.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims process, providing clear, timely updates and answering inquiries about claim status, policy details, and next steps.
  • Claims Evaluation: Evaluate the cost of damage and loss by consulting with appraisers, contractors, and experts to ensure accurate settlement amounts.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of claims, including all correspondence, reports, and decisions made throughout the claims process. Prepare detailed reports and summaries for management or legal teams as necessary.
  • Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate settlements with policyholders, contractors, and third-party providers, ensuring fair and timely resolution in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that all claims handling and settlements comply with industry regulations, insurance policies, and company standards. Maintain knowledge of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify any issues or discrepancies with claims and work towards resolving them, including potential fraud investigations when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of claims processes and customer service standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
