Rhythm & Brews Bar and Grill is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bartender who understands that excellence is in the details as well as the pour. At Rhythm & Brews, we don’t just "pour drinks"—we provide an experience. Whether it's our fun-filled Laff Shack Comedy Nights, our weekly Jam Sessions with the CJ Baker Band or the legendary DJ Whitted Friday Nights, we need a mixologist who stays sharp, stays fast, works well with others, and keeps the bar shining.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven Pro: Must have 2+ years of experience behind a high-volume, licensed bar.
• Bartending License is a preferred plus!
• Service-First Mindset: Obsessed with hygiene, presentation, and making every guest feel like a VIP.
• Reliable & Punctual: Our parties start on time, and so do you. If you're 15min early, you're on time, and if you're on time, you're late.
• NC ABC Expert: A firm grasp of North Carolina ABC laws and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS systems (mainly Clover) ensuring accuracy in orders and billing.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking/serving food and drink orders, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and the general dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties, processing payments, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Support banquet, catering, and night club events by serving food and beverages promptly, while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods without compromising service quality.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, monitor guest behavior, and intervene when necessary to promote a safe environment.

Experience

• 2+years proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting with a strong focus on organization and customer service.
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts
• Experience with fine dining service standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling techniques.
• Familiarity with retail math, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
• Previous roles involving catering or banquet experience are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to create positive guest interactions in diverse environments such as brewing venues, bars, or nightclubs.
