Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Regional Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities in Houston. This leadership role requires a strong background in facilities management, industrial maintenance, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management skills, technical expertise in HVAC, programmable logic controllers, and electrical systems, as well as proven supervisory experience. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the efficient operation of all building systems, coordinate maintenance projects, and lead a team of technicians to uphold the highest standards of property upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians across multiple apartment communities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Oversee facilities management tasks including HVAC, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to safety standards and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with property management teams to prioritize repairs, plan upgrades, and improve overall property conditions.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues related to industrial maintenance or facilities management that could impact safety or operations.
  • Supervise the installation, repair, and replacement of building systems including HVAC units, electrical panels (including high voltage), and other mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations including electrical safety protocols involving high voltage and low voltage systems.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in maintenance management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience with a strong background in facilities or industrial maintenance within multi-unit residential or manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical experience (including high voltage), mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and industrial maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools used in troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Experience using CMMS software for work order management and inventory control.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
  • Supervisory experience leading teams of technicians or maintenance staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work (high voltage/low voltage) and general facilities management best practices.
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on team development, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
