Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Private Practice | Tracy

$23 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts

We are a privately owned dental practice in Tracy looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. Our office focuses on providing high-quality dentistry while maintaining a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable RDA who takes pride in patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms for patient procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Take high-quality digital dental X-rays
• Fabricate excellent temporary crowns
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout appointments

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
• X-ray certification required
• Minimum 1+ year dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix (preferred) or similar
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental anatomy
• Ability to fabricate high-quality temporary crowns
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8-hour shifts
• One Saturday per month: 4-hour shift
